These can be ordered for two layers or three layers, depending on how you like to hook up your sling

These can be ordered as either riveted keepers or sewn keepers. Both types are legal by NRA and CMP rules. Les recommends selecting riveted keepers. Sewn keepers are usually ordered by "traditionalists" and cost $10 more than riveted keepers. There is no advantage in either type. Also, the size of the upper keeper can be chosen to fit either 2 or 3 layers of leather strap, depending on what method you will use to rig-up your sling on the rifle. If you are not sure, wait till you talk to Les by phone.
